As a young girl, I remember being glued to the Tarzan series envisioning myself living in the African jungle along side the strong and bare chested man who swung from trees. In high school, I fell in love with the character Indiana Jones(or maybe it was Harrison Ford) the quirky and risk taking adventurer. Then, as a young adult living in New York City, I discovered the handsome, charismatic and famed photographer Peter Beard. His breathtaking and inspiring photography/art work and his years lived in Africa, were of a modern day storybook fairy tale. A wonderful talent! It was with great sadness to hear that he had passed away. He was the last of his kind.

HAPPY NEWS!

Hola Silvia,

here we are.

After about 69!!! hours Travel we have arrived our home. It was Monday (last week) morning! (and we started  Friday at 11 am!).

One week before we should leave Argentina we´ve got a message that our flight (Buenos Aires – Madrid – Düsseldorf) has been canceled. And all flights to Europe has been canceled!

So we had to book new Flights!

The new way was: Buenos Aires - Santiago de Chile - Toronto - London ......and the next step should have been Düsseldorf.

But after we reached London we found out that the last Flight has been canceled!

We had to wait and hope. After about 2 hours we´ve got an afternoon flight to Stuttgart. It wasn´t optimal, but the main thing was: we are in Germany!(Have we told You?: we´re from Poland but we live in Germany since 30 years :-) )

We have visited some places You´ve suggested: Villa Vicuna in Salta, Tilcara, Nuevo Progreso in Tilcara...

How is the situation in Argentina? How do You feel? And Indy?
